The Feale River near Listowel has a rich supply of salmon, plaice, flounder and trout. Tralee Angling Club also holds competitions during the summer months at Ballybunion.
The county has as many beautiful places to fish as there are fishermen. The waters off the south and west coasts abound with skate, shark, ling, cod, conger, pollock, monkfish, mackerel and many more.
