The Kerry Literary & Cultural Centre is located in a 19th-century Georgian House in the Square, Listowel. One can listen to the seanchai explaining the ancient art of storytelling. An audiovisual tour through historic North Kerry with the writers is taken. More can be learned about such greats as John B Keane, Brian MacMahon and George Fitzmaurice.
The centre includes an archive room, book and craft shop and literary cafe. Listowel Writer’s Week takes place each year in May/June
